Therefore, some people view this as an unexploited avenue hence their decision to use the mineral as a source of energy. Others engage in the coal business to increase their returns and make profits. This is not wise considering the intensity of the impacts after the use of coal as a source of energy. The issue surrounding efforts to stop the use of coal as a source of energy is to some extent of moral nature. The use of coal is an unethical act because the impacts derived from it are of a negative nature in relation to the environment (Veizer 2005).
